How to track a stolen iPod Touch without software

If someone steals your iPod touch, there's no way need to track it without software. If your phone does not have a specific tracking applications, you will not be able to know your exact location. However, there are other methods that can retrieve it.

1. Check Craigslist, other bulletin boards online and also eBay regularly to your neighborhood or city and the surrounding areas. If the person who stole your iPod try to sell it, you might recognize his image or description.
2. The online bulletin boards exist for the purpose of locating stolen items. They hope that consumers seek on Google the serial number of an item you plan to buy in order to make sure it is not stolen. Post the serial number of your machine in Stolen911 and other sites, and maybe someone will notify you.
3. Some sites track the location of recent logins. If you have a Gmail account or Facebook, which can be accessed from your device that was stolen, the IP address will be logged by the site. These addresses can be linked to certain places and regions, so that you focus your search in that area.
